Insufficient pressure at the point of use is often not a compressor fault but a system problem. Work from the demand side back to the machine.
Confirm Real Demand
Check whether peak CFM demand exceeds the compressor rating or the receiver is too small.
Look for Pressure Drop
Undersized piping, dirty filters and long hose runs eat pressure before it reaches the tool.
Check the Machine
Verify the setpoint, intake filter and pressure sensor are correct.
Fix in Order
Repair leaks, upsize restrictions, then raise the setpoint only if the compressor has headroom.
